Mr. Paul Immersive, emotive, checking many boxes for contemplative ambient/synthesized drones. Definitely something to be played on repeat. Favorite track: The Purpose Of Peace (Live).

Brendan McGowan I was lucky to be present at this performance during the Sonica Festival. The space was like an intimate nightclub, with quite a low ceiling on a floor above a cavernously large and ornate concert hall in Ljubljana. As ever with Abul Mogard, a sense of time suspended hung over the gathering. Moments like this one are so very special and very much missed in these sad, cloistered times. Let us hope that we can all meet in the future to savour the music of this deeply respected composer. Favorite track: The Purpose Of Peace (Live).

about

Recorded live at Sonica in Ljubljana (Slovenia) on 27 September 2019.
It was the first time I played this new arrangement.

The original version appeared on my first self-titled release and in "Works".
